(Düsseldorf, 24.06.2025) On Saturday, 05.07.2025, the young Düsseldorf start-up HYRAYSE invites you to the opening party of the innovative outdoor fitness studio. After extensive construction work, HYRAYSE is celebrating the opening of Düsseldorf's new outdoor gym at Altenbergstraße 101a in Düsseldorf with the fitness-enthusiastic community from 4 pm. The HYRAYSE team has put together a varied programme of fitness competitions, music and drinks for all interested parties.

Fitness competitions, free workouts with good beats

We want to turn the opening into a great event and show that with the new HYRAYSE outdoor gym, we are taking outdoor fitness to a new level with modern equipment and a functional space,’ explains Düsseldorf co-founder Leon Freiholz. The event starts at 4 p.m. on 5 July 2025 with four guided workouts lasting three quarters of an hour each:

In the free courses, participants train under the guidance of professional coaches. This gives all sports enthusiasts a first impression of the new possibilities offered by the outdoor gym. At the same time, there will be food from the barbecue, drinks and fitness snacks for the athletes and all other party guests. During the breaks, competitive participants can compete for prizes in sporting challenges. A DJ will keep the guests in a good mood throughout the afternoon and evening with remixes.

From open fitness area to open gym with strength equipment

In the first stage, which was completed in May 2025, the area was extended and the floor was covered with new sustainable rubber sports mats. A 20-metre-long artificial turf track was also installed. In the second, current step, the outdoor gym will be protected by a roof so that 13 strength machines and 7 cardio machines can be used for outdoor training at any time, even in the rain and colder temperatures. The site is also being expanded to include a changing room and a modern relaxation area with a terrace for greater comfort. ‘Easy Access’ is provided by the IT-supported revolving door at the entrance, which allows access via QR codes and mobile phones.
